I need a hug. Just a hug, nothing more, nothing less. A hug where someone wraps their arms tight around me and tells me everything’s gonna be okay so for a moment it doesn’t feel like I’m about to snap from everything. A hug where I don’t feel so lost and alone and that someone will be there for me no matter what happens. Just a hug.
It’s these kind of details in the sport that I find fascinating. Having to pick up a couple of pounds of rubber marbles at the end to make sure you make weight. All the little things add up.
Oh, and I think Alonso is winning this afternoon, especially if he can get a jump at the start again.
